Tips from a Wayzata Groom
From the proposal to the I do’s, the bride and groom can have very different perspectives when it comes to planning for the big day. Travis Senenfelder, a recent Wayzata newlywed, gives us a glimpse into the groom’s side of the story, sharing a few tips for grooms-to-be on how to stay sane and supportive:
1. Make it about her. “All brides are different, but most have been dreaming of this day for years, so as much as possible, roll with what she wants.
2. Prioritize your pennies. “The No. 1 thing guests take away from the night is the food. And the No. 1 thing the couple takes away is the photography.” So put your money where the memories will be.
3. Surprise her during the big day; for example, “give her notes that others can deliver.”
