Come get a pint and support a pup - it's the 2nd Pints and Pups fundraising event at Boom Island Brewing Company! A part of proceeds from the day will be donated to the featured rescue organizations at the event. This is a dog-friendly event - all well-behaved and leashed pups are welcome to attend with their humans!
Join Right to Know Minnesota, MN State Representative Karen Clark, and Pollinate MN's Erin Rupp for an inspiring (and delicious) evening to celebrate Earth Day with a five-course pollinator friendly meal including beer, wine & cider pairings. Proceeds support Right to Know's mission to advance the mandatory labeling of foods produced with genetic engineering (GMOs) in Minnesota.
Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP) is pleased to present Girls, Glamour & Giving -- an evening of food, fashion, fun and philanthropy. Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, a sit-down dinner, shopping, celebrity purse wall, brief program and a high-energy fashion show with other inspiring women. Hosted by Carly Aplin, Red Dress Collection Founder and Sports & Entertainment Journalist.
This a super fun event to help support women in our community that have breast cancer. The cost is 5.00 at the door. This is a donation to the Hope Chest cancer fund that will go directly to help women in our community. There will be many fun local artists and vendors to shop from. Silent auction, chair massages, fourtune telling, plus live music! We will have food donated by Joey Novas, treats and beverages. Please join us for the fourth annual Sizzle for a Cause at the beautiful Cast & Cru Restaurant at the Old Log Theatre in Excelsior.
In a "CHOPPED" style cooking competition, chefs will be given a variety of basic cooking ingredients and main-dish mystery items -- revealed at the last minute! Chefs have 30 minutes to wow a panel of celebrity judges. Judging is based on creativity, presentation, and taste.

Celebrate St. David’s Center for Child & Family Development with our emcee, KARE 11’s Rena Sarigianopoulos, fine dining, silent and live auctions, plus a vibrant After Party featuring live entertainment provided by local cover band, Junk FM. Proceeds from the Gala will fund critical services to the 1,800 children and their families who rely on St. David’s Center for inclusive early childhood education and early intervention and treatment services.

For the second year in a row, dozens of local retailers will participate in an alternative campaign to Black Friday, known as Plaid Friday. Started five years ago in Oakland, Calif., Plaid Friday encourages consumers to put their holiday gift dollars back into the local economy by shopping at stores in their own communities.
