Chip & Clip Clinic

Could your pet use some grooming? The clinic is presenting an opportunity to get your pet’s nails trimmed and have a chip placed for safe tracking. All proceeds from the event will go towards benefitting the Consignment Cats of Secondhand Hounds program. Owners must bring a copy of each pet’s rabies vaccination to your appointment. This monthly event hosted by Accelerated Global Connections is a great way to grow your business along with others looking to do the same. Twin Cities Bead Bazaar

The Twin Cities Bead Bazaar, a semi-annual gathering of artists, crafters, jewelry designers and stone lovers, will be held once again at the Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins, MN, on October 26 & 27. The show is hosted and organized by Edina's own Dakota Stones and Goody Beads. Tiger Tracks 5K and Family Run/ Walk

Earn your stripes and join the Minnesota Zoo for their annual Tiger Tracks 5K to raise money for wildlife conservation. The race starts at the Shady Oaks Picnic area and follows a course through the zoo on outdoor trails. Minneapolis Monarch Festival

Veterans Day Salute

The Lake Minnetonka Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will honor veterans at its annual Veterans Day Salute to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion of Normandy during World War II. The program will feature a performance of big band and patriotic music by the Minnetonka Civic Orchestra, along with inspirational speakers including Bronze Star Medal recipient, U.S. Air Force Major General Maureen Banavige and Vietnam Veteran, Gary Nash, who will share thoughts on the D-Day anniversary. Woodbury Days

Woodbury Days, the city's biggest and most beloved summer festival, returns to Ojibway Park at the end of the month for its 41st year. Organizers report that, last year, almost 300 businesses participated in the event and more than 30,000 people attended.
