MSO Young People’s Concert
When:
February 19 & 26, 3:30 p.m. With a decline in music classes offered in school, it’s more important than ever to expose children to the arts. At this concert featuring the Minnetonka Symphony Orchestra and the Music Association of Minnetonka Young Artist Competition Winner Megan Ruan, children can visit the musicians and learn about different instruments. Music selections will be from composers taught in local elementary schools such as Coming, Mozart, Handel, Smetana and more. Free-will donation. 3:30 p.m. Feb.19 performance at Normandale Hylands United Methodist Church, 9920 Normandale Blvd., Bloomington; Feb. 26 performance at Minnetonka United Methodist Church, 17611 Lake St. Ext., Minnetonka; 952.401.5954
