OMNI Brewing Company, Unmapped Brewing, Wayzata Brew Works and Back Channel Brewing offer up their best beers for summer nights.
While Minneapolis may be Minnesota’s craft beer capital, the Lake Minnetonka area is a hub in its own right, with plenty of great local options.
In May 2014, Excelsior Brewing Co. celebrated Memorial Day weekend with food, trucks, bands and lots of beer. Located in downtown Excelsior, the brewery opened its $1.4 million expansion, including an outdoor patio, indoor stage, new taproom and bottling line that produces six-packs. The company is now able to produce 8,500 barrels rather than its previous 1,500, which will help meet the growing demand for its products.
