Sarah Borchers, writer for Plymouth Magazine, Southwest Metro Magazine, and Lake Minnetonka Magazine, loves learning about her community through the interviews for her articles. With a background in marketing, project management, and consulting, Sarah has always enjoyed the coupling of learning and writing. While she focused on creative writing while earning her B.A. in English from Colby College, she switched gears to earn an M.B.A. from Duke University, and now finds both the qualitative and quantitative aspects of researching and writing equally enjoyable. She spends the majority of her time volunteering with organizations that have an educational component to their mission. She lives in Medina with her husband and two kids, along with their white dog, their black cat, and a few chickens.
