Lake Minnetonka may be under a no wake restriction, but Excelsior Girl’s Night Out will be making waves in downtown Excelsior on July 3 and 4.
On Thursday from 5-9 p.m., join women from all over the Twin Cities in downtown Excelsior for exclusive store and restaurant specials, along with live music in support of Go Red For Women and the American Heart Assoc. You can find Girls Night Out only specials, like:
- spend $100 and get a $20 gift card at Ooh La La
- 15 percent off at Scusi, plus the first 15 women in the shop get a free red flower in honor of Go Red for Women
- 20 percent of at Amore and Fede if you wear red, white or blue (plus free red, white and blue bead necklaces)
Then on July 4, look for the lake-area's own Captain Jack Sparrow out and about at the Excelsior Commons and on Lake Minnetonka. Despite the no wake restrictions, Captain Jack will still be out on Lake Minnetonka in his decked out Excelsior Girls Night Out paddle boat. He will be traveling around Lake Minnetonka as long as his legs can take it! Captain Jack will also be posing for photos, visiting with fans and handing out information about women’s heart health in support of Go Red for Women and the American Heart Association. Find him and get card for a free visit to one of the five fitness studios participating in the upcoming Excelsior Girl’s Night Out Get Fit Event on July 10.
“Aye, even a pirate needs to do his part to make sure our women are taken care of,” Captain Jack (impersonator Brendan Anderson) says.
