Marathon for Non Public Education

Saint Ambrose of Woodbury Catholic School will participate in the Minnesota Marathon for Nonpublic Education on Saturday, September 22, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. We are holding the marathon in conjunction with the parish SAW Festival! Come for the Marathon, stay for the Festival!

Minnetonka Library Used Book Sale

Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: The Friends of the Minnetonka Library will hold a sale of hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction in hardback and paperback. All Books are withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library. Donations accepted September 4-12.

Pilates ProWorks Aims to Support Minneapolis Mothers with Diaper Drives

EDINA, Minn. – From August 8 through September 30, Pilates ProWorks, the boutique fitness studio concept known for its contemporary twist on traditional Pilates, is collecting diapers of all sizes to help support local mothers in need.

Roughly 1 in 3 American mothers report experiencing diaper need and nearly 5.2 million children in the U.S. aged three or younger live in poor or low-income families and are in need of diaper assistance, according to the National Diaper Bank Network.

Dog Days of Summer Celebration & Car Wash for a Cause at Trillium Woods

Trillium Woods will host a community “Car Wash for a Cause” benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association on Friday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For any size donation, you can have your car washed, and for just $5, you can enjoy a hot dog lunch while you wait! All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association. 

Bring your dog! Trillium Woods residents are also hosting a dog party featuring an agility course, dog & owner caricaturist and a photo booth. The fun will be happening on the Grand Terrace along with the hot dog lunch.

Band Blitz II is coming to Delano MN!

Saturday, September 8 

7 p.m. to 11 p.m., 

Delano Legion Parking Lot, 200 Babcock Blvd W, Delano, MN 55328

Band Blitz II will raise money for the nationally-recognized GreenCare for Troops program & the Delano American Legion Post 377.

Two bands with Delano connections will perform at the event.

The opening act will be a new Delano band – West Highway. They will perform from 7 to 8 p.m.

10th Annual Girl’s Night Out at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes
