Twin Cities Bead Bazaar

The Twin Cities Bead Bazaar is a semi-annual gathering of artists, crafters, jewelry designers and stone lovers.  The show, which is hosted and organized by Edina's own Dakota Stones and Goody Beads, will be held once again at the Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins, MN, on May 2nd & 3rd.  Dozens of local and nationally known vendors will offer their wide selection of semi-precious gemstones, beads, kit and patterns, and finished jewelry. Wayzata Chilly Open

Visit Wayzata for its biggest, chilliest community event of the year. Enjoy free skating on Wayzata Bay and a movie night in the heated 19th Hole Tent with heartwarming hot cocoa and tasty treats. Watch colorful kites overtake the sky for the Snowkiting event. Finish the festival with the ticketed Golf Tournament and annual Chili Cook-Off. 2020 Saint Paul Winter Carnival

The Winter Carnival is back for 2020! This year’s events will include ice carvings, merchandise and food sales, music and much more. Bring out the whole family and come join the fun at the recently renovated Rice Park and Landmark Center. This all-day event will be a fun time for everyone in the winter months. Puppy Love: Leap Year Event

Cherrywood Pointe in Minnetonka will be hosting its Woodlands Memory Care February Friends & Family event on Saturday, February 29th. The event – Puppy Love: Leap Year - will feature leaping Corgis from the Corgi Racing Society, Valentine’s cookies, and hot cocoa. The event is dementia-friendly and welcoming to everyone. It will also offer a great chance for attendees to meet the staff at Cherrywood Pointe, learn about the programming available, and see the Cherrywood Pointe of Minnetonka Woodlands Memory Care neighborhood. The Lost Art of Cursive Writing

​Discover a lost art! Learn to write in cursive the same way your ancestors did, as you experiment with old fashioned slate boards and ink and dip pens. You'll also decipher the cursive writing of Lake Minnetonka pioneers' diaries and letters, learning about their lives from their own words.
