Please join us for an inspirational evening sharing the work of Opportunity International as we bring together female executives, leaders, and activists. Hear from Megan Tamte, Co-founder and CEO, Evereve (formerly Hot Mama), and Vicki Escarra, Global CEO, Opportunity International, as they share stories of overcoming their fears through courage. Be motivated by the story of Beathe Iribagiza, a Rwandan survivor of the genocide and expert artisan, who exemplifies the spirit of determination.

Excelsior Girls Night Out: Danc'n in the Street

This fun dance event for all ages features dance performances, dance lessons, costume contest (with prizes) and the opportunity to participate in a flash mob dance. No dance shoes or dance experience required to join in the fun!

Bacon Chase 5k & .05K

5K Runners will hustle their hams along 3.1 miles of bacon bliss enjoying cups of bacon bits along the way! The 0.05K Blitz to Bacon is the ultimate fast track to hog heaven, Get ready to hoof it across 164 feet of pure piggy ecstasy.

Tapping History: Danceland Burning

Tapping History is a monthly event presented by Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society, it is a free public event with roatating speakers on the history of Lake Minnetonka. The event takes place the second Monday of each month.

Danceland Burning: Big Reggie, Rolling Stones & 40 years of music memories at Danceland. This will be an open mic format for anyone to speak on their experiences and share memories at Danceland and the Rolling Stones Concert in 1964.

Come have a pint & reflect on the history of Danceland!

With cocktails and mixology the latest buzz, this class is great if you’re interested in learning more. Join Kris James, chef and culinary instructor, as she teaches you tips and tricks to wow your guests next time you make drinks. Excelsior Girl's Night Out Opening Night

The first Excelsior Girl's Night Out of the season kicks off in downtown Excelsior on Thursday June 5.This season Excelsior Girl's Night Out is partnering with Go Red For Women and the American Heart Association. Come out opening night for exclusive Girl's Night Out store and restaurant specials.  Enjoy live music right on Water St. Meet the women of the Excelsior Fire Department who will be doing hands only CPR demos.  Tour the famous Mammo-a-go-go Mammogram bus or get a mammogram. Excelsior Farmers’ Market

Nothing says summer quite like a farmers’ market with fresh produce and homemade goods. Stroll through the streets of Excelsior, support local farmers and pick up some fresh ingredients for your own meals, from heirloom tomatoes from Ridgeroll Farms to a fresh loaf of bread from Great Harvest Bread Co.
