Summer Arts Camp Registration Opens Feb. 11

Minnetonka Center for the Arts is excited to offer quality arts education for kids ages 5-15 through our Summer Arts Camp program. Registration opens mid-February, and camps run June 10 through August 23, with full and half day camps in a wide variety of visual arts programming:

St. Therese Preschool Open House

Prospective Preschool students and their families are invited to come hear how St. Therese gets kids off to a great start! You will meet our teachers, learn about our outdoor learning model and enjoy donuts and coffee! PreK overviews will be shared with prospective families every 30 minuntes while kiddos play in the classroom and meet teachers. The three overview times will start at 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM.

Oktoberfest and Halloween Fun at Heidi's GrowHaus!

Heidi's GrowHaus celebrates Harvest and Halloween in one, free, family-friendly Oktoberfest event on Saturday, 10/28, from Noon - 4:00 PM. Pumpkin-carving contests with prizes, pumpkin bowling games, live music, food and drink from the Strudel Haus food truck, and ongoing food fermentation, preservation and cider-pressing demonstrations. Santa and Albert's Holiday Play at Bachman's on Lyndale

Albert the Elf has been admiring the skills of his favorite superheroes and is eager to become one himself! But when Super Rudolph - a popular Christmas toy and Albert's desired sidekick - is in high demand and short supply, Albert's superhero dreams are at risk. Will our favorite elf get everything he wants this Christmas, or give up on his dream and turn in his cape? For more than 30 years, it has been a beloved Bachman's tradition to host an annual holiday play. 

Macy’s Santaland

Macy’s in downtown Minneapolis transforms its eighth floor into a magical North Pole. Macy’s Santaland offers a magical walk through the elves’ workshop, the cozy home of Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the colorful holiday candy land. There are sweet treats made fresh from Mrs. Claus’ kitchen and a toy shop that makes holiday shopping convenient and fun. All ages. Arctic Fever Winter Festival

Enjoy a good Minnesota winter by getting active in Shorewood, Tonka Bay and Excelsior! Most events are free, and all ages will love to participate!
