SUMMARY:July 4th "Revolutionary" Flying Pancake Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:Guests will “catch ’em if they can” pancakes tossed from the grill. This lakeside breakfast includes pancakes\, sausage\, coffee\, and a cold drink. Breakfast is $9.00 (cash or checks only) at the door. USA Veterans eat free. At 10 am\, a short ceremony and flag raising including a rifle salute will be conducted. \nThe 7th Pennsylvania Regiment of Revolutionary actors will tell tales and interact with guests as they demonstrate the loading and firing of their powder muskets! Sons of the American Revolution Color Guard and the Daughters of the American Revolution will return along with Period Costumed Actors to entertain Patriots of all Ages! \nThe Lake Minnetonka Society of the Children of the American Revolution (C.A.R.) first held this breakfast 17 years ago\, and are pleased to continue this annual community tradition\, which fulfills their motto: ‘Patriotism in Action’.   C.A.R. Co-Presidents Lydia Muldoon and Katherine Ahlquist are excited to bring this event to the community once again.  They want to remind guests to hope for sunshine\, but to prepare for any weather\, as “a drizzle will not cause cancellation – pancakes still taste great in the rain!”  So please bring an umbrella or raincoat if it rains. \nThe C.A.R. is a 50 l(c)3 organization\, dependent on contributions to fund programs and events.  Visit www.CARLakeMtka.org to learn more.\nFollow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates.
