Since its inception in 2009, Minnetonka’s Entertainment in the Park has become a staple of summer fun in the community. Organized by the City of Minnetonka and sponsored by a wide variety of local businesses, the program offers free summer events at the Civic Center Campus, 14600 Minnetonka Blvd.
If you haven’t had a chance to attend the series this year, there’s still time. Music in the Park is offered from 6:30–8 p.m. Tuesdays through August 30. Make plans to see Jack Brass Band (August 2), Power of 10 (August 9), Salsa del Soul (August 16), Church of Cash (August 23) and Southside Big Band (August 30).
Movies in the Park is set to show Raya and the Last Dragon, Encanto and Sing 2, which will be shown 15 minutes after sunset on August 26, September 1 and September 9, respectively.
Tip: Be sure to bring a blanket or a folding chair.
