Welcome to Minnesota Oktoberfest. This year’s event will be held from 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on September 16, and is presented by St. Peter Lutheran Church-Watertown and Lupine Brewing Co. Enjoy St. Peter’s famous schnitzel dinners, hot pretzels, St. Peter-made apfelstrudel, Deutschland Meats Food Truck and several other snacks and drinks. Delano’s Lupine Brewing and Fountain Hill Winery will be providing beer and wine respectively.
Admission:
20 years and younger: Free
21 years and up: $5
The first 500 attendees will receive a limited edition mug free with paid admission.
Entertainment:
Entertainment will be provided by Sgt. Sauerkraut’s Polka Band (7–10 p.m.), The Bavarian Musikmeisters (11 a.m.–3 p.m.), Die Schweizer Streicher (noon–3 p.m.), and The Dale Pexa Band (3–6 p.m.). An Oktoberfest Keg Blessing and Tapping Ceremony with Ft. Kowalczyk will take place at 6:15 p.m., and there will be free games and activities for the kids from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. as well as random beir games, nagelspiel am jagermeisterzelt!
Oktoberfest Markt:
This year’s Oktoberfest Markt will run from 11 a.m.–7 p.m. and will feature fall flavors, fall harvest produce and decor, repurposed goods, yard and garden art, one-of-a-kind jewelry and many items of curiosity and delight!
