Sheep Shearing & Holiday Gifts

Observe sheep shearing and learn how wool is taken off the sheep to become beautiful fiber products. Try your hand at creating a felted fiber gift made from Gale Woods Farm’s wool. Choose from a variety of options such as soap-scrubbies, ornaments and more. Observe the process of turning flax grown at Gale Woods into linen thread with artist and author Wendy Johnson. Make and take fiber items are an additional fee, varying from $3–6 per item.

Everyone attending this event must pay applicable fees. Participants ages 11 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
