Lake Minnetonka Historical Society Presents “Wayzata and the North Shore”

The Lake Minnetonka Historical Society (LMHS) will present a history cruise “Wayzata and the North Shore” aboard Wayzata Bay Charters’ “Her Excellency” departing from Wayzata Depot Docks on August 11, 6–8 p.m.

Passengers will cruise through the history of Lake Minnetonka’s North Shore from the 1850s to today with historian Joanie Holst. They’ll learn about Wayzata’s landmark depot, the storied Spirit Knob, Lake Minnetonka’s ship graveyard, and the grandeur of Brackett’s Point and Ferndale. A cash bar will be available on board.
