The Lake Minnetonka Historical Society is marking the city’s milestone anniversary with a cruise.
Celebrate Deephaven’s 125th anniversary with the Lake Minnetonka Historical Society (LMHS) on July 14 aboard the Lady of the Lake. The triple deck charter boat will play host to a history lecture, Deephaven and the Secrets of Saint Louis Bay, presented by underwater explorer Kelly Nehowig and filmmaker Bob Nye.
Passengers will learn about the past of notable landmarks, such as the Minnetonka Yacht Club and Cottagewood, while celebrating the 125th anniversary of the founding of Deephaven. Enjoy a beverage or snack while Nehowig and Nye dive into their documentary film about the Saint Louis Bay as you cruise above it.
The Lady of the Lake dock sits behind Tommy’s Tonka Trolley, and the cruise boards at 5:45 p.m. followed by a 6 p.m. departure. The event will not be cancelled for inclement weather.
