Frozen Rudder Rendezvous

Bundle up and join us for an unforgettable winter afternoon where lake life meets cold‑weather adventure. The Wayzata Yacht Club members-only Frozen Rudder Rendezvous is all about embracing the season, connecting with fellow members and having some serious fun on the ice. This will be a free event aside using the sauna.

What’s On Deck:

• Snowga on the Lake (1:30–2:30 p.m.): Stretch, breathe, and find your balance with Snow Yoga, held right on the ice weather and ice conditions permitting. A truly Minnesota way to find your zen. Class size limited.
• Portable Sauna Experience (starting at 1 p.m.): Warm up Scandinavian‑style with our on‑site portable sauna. $15 charge for 15 minute session.
• Hot Chocolate Bar: Sip your way to happiness with a cozy hot chocolate bar featuring classic toppings and fun extras.
• Group Rides & Glides: Bring your cross‑country skis or fat bikes and join casual group rides on the lake and surrounding trails.
• Ice Sport Demos: Check out exciting winter lake sports, including snow-kiting, ice boating and other ice‑powered surprises (Demos subject to conditions.)
• Grand Finale
• Bonfire & Live Music

We’ll wrap up the day gathered around a roaring bonfire with a live performance by Leech Lake Regatta—the perfect soundtrack to a winter sunset on the lake.
