Mound-Westonka Rotary Club Spirit of the Lakes Festival 5K

Join us July 18, 2026 for the inaugural Mound-Westonka Rotary Club Spirit of the Lakes Festival 5K—a brand-new tradition kicking off the final day of the Spirit of the Lakes Festival.

The race begins and ends at Lost Lake Commons in downtown Mound, with a flat, scenic out-and-back course along the Dakota Rail Regional Trail. Whether you’re chasing a personal record, walking with the family or running your very first 5K, there’s a spot at the starting line for you.

Cross the finish line, grab a snack and stay for the Spirit of the Lakes Parade at 10 a.m.—the perfect way to round out festival weekend.

All proceeds benefit the Mound Westonka Rotary Foundation, supporting local causes, scholarships and community service projects right here in the Westonka area.
