Prince Rogers Nelson was the epitome of a true artist, a musical genius and a world icon who was proud of our city and his Minneapolis roots. Gone too soon—but his music lives forever.
Interesting to Know: Stuart utilized energy of subject when creating her work, listening to Prince’s music, pouring all the energy she felt from his catalogue of music onto the canvas. She has a permanent piece of artwork on display at a Smithsonian Institution museum in Washington, D.C.
