Find out what local businesses have planned for Small Business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday was first coined almost 10 years ago by credit card company American Express, and was aimed at encouraging consumers to support locally owned small businesses during the busy holiday shopping season (rather than large big-box corporations). By now, we know that supporting local businesses keeps our communities’ economies healthy and strong—and several local chambers of commerce and other business entities plan activities, sales and other events on Small Business Saturday to amp up the fun. Find out what’s happening on your own main street this year—Small Business Saturday is November 30 this year, the Saturday after Thanksgiving—by visiting local chamber websites like excelsior-lakeminnetonkachamber.com and wayzatachamber.com.
