Entrepreneur McKenzie Carr wants to change the gym experience.
A new boutique gym in the Tonka Bay Village Center has opened and is designed for strength, wellness and community. Founded by McKenzie Carr, SANCTUM FITNESS brings high-end aesthetics with strength and cardio training into a welcoming environment.
Carr’s passion for fitness began at a young age, inspired by her father, Rick Adams, a former Mr. Minnesota, and her own background as a bodybuilding competitor. This fitness background has created a mindset of confidence and commitment that she hopes to impart on others. Carr created SANCTUM FITNESS to help members achieve their goals and feel comfortable and confident while doing it. “My vision for SANCTUM is to create a space where people feel empowered the moment they walk in,” she says. “I wanted to build something beautiful, intentional and motivating for this community.”
While the space is mainly focused on women, SANCTUM FITNESS serves anyone looking for an elevated fitness experience. The gym offers premium equipment, along with a calming and supportive atmosphere. Founding memberships are now available.
