Torres 10 is like brandy meets sherry meets rum, our liquor expert says.
For January, this will warm you up. This is not a cocktail rum. I’d say it’s best described as brandy meets sherry meets rum.
Torres 10 is made from a distillate of white wines from the Penedés region in Spain. Once distilled, it’s aged in American oak casks using a traditional solera aging system, meaning the brand you get is a minimum of 10 years old. It’s a nice dark-colored brandy, with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and a bit of tannin from the oak. $22.99.
