September brings a feeling of coziness to our home, signaling a return from summer travels and readiness to jump back into a new chapter. I love how local artist Ashley Sullivan takes a different perspective of the iconic Eiffel Tower, shifting focus to the environment of its surroundings vs. the expected view.
“In this piece, a fleeting softness crosses the city’s rooftops, layered in muted ivories, blue grays and fading light,” Sullivan says. “The image resists monumentality, instead offering a quieter experience of the city—atmospheric, suspended and breath-like in its stillness.”
