Tony award-winning musical comes to Excelsior.

This month, don’t miss Old Log Theatre’s premiere of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder—for one thing, it’s the first regional production of this massively successful show, which won four Tony awards in 2014—including best musical. Director Eric Morris says, “The piece has a wonderful score, with tuneful melodies and unforgettably witty lyrics. The hilarious story is written as if Alfred Hitchcock, Agatha Christie, Mel Brooks and the Monty Python crew were trapped on an island and wrote a play.” The cast includes Max Wojtanowicz and Deidre Cochran, plus other members of the local theater scene. Morris says, “Audiences will be thrilled and tickled to the core. The Old Log couldn’t be a better spot to premiere this farcical musical romp to Minnesota audiences.”

Need something to nosh on before the show? Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at Old Log’s popular restaurant, Cast & Cru.
