The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum’s Gift and Garden Store is known for being a destination for gift givers on the hunt for something special, including gardeners, but also lovers of Minnesota-themed merch, books, puzzles, home décor, botanical-themed art and body care products, too.
But perhaps fewer folks have discovered the seasonal satellite store that is the arboretum’s Holiday Boutique. Curated by the same Gift and Garden Store staff, the boutique is just down the road from the arboretum in the AppleHouse at 7485 Rolling Acres Road, Victoria. Unlike the Gift and Garden Store, visitors don’t need to pay admission to the arboretum to visit. This year the Holiday Boutique will be open November 6–December 20.
Apples and squash are for sale for holiday baking, while supplies last, as well as a wide variety of locally made food items, frozen pies and strudels, along with books, puzzles, toys, holiday decorations, jewelry, clothing and more.
Boutique manager Treacy Welch says she and staff carefully curate the store to include numerous local vendors and to distinguish the merchandise and holiday ornaments from local boutiques. “We promise, you’ll spot gifts you’ve never seen around the Twin Cities,” Welch says.
