Liliana Perovich-Westby’s Relaxed Water, which received appreciative nods from readers and the Lens on Lake Minnetonka’s judges panel, came by way of a fortuitous shopping expedition when she and her friend Noelle Laikind went thrift shopping and bought an old prom dress. The weather was cooperative that day, so the duo did a photo shoot outside Perovich-Westby’s home.
Perovich-Westby points to the water droplets as a standout element in the photograph. “The water droplets created a cool and unique reflection of the colors of her dress and the water,” she says.
