Sip warm refreshments while shopping small on February 21 in downtown Excelsior.
The Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Chamber of Commerce and over 20 participating businesses will treat community members to hot cocoa and cookies during the Hot Cocoa Stroll. Although the event is free, people can pre-register for $15 to receive a commemorative Hot Cocoa Stroll mug, cocoa toppings provided by North Mallow and a savings passport with special offers. Once participants have had their fun, they are encouraged to submit a photo of a same-day receipt to enter a drawing for a community gift card that can be redeemed at a participating business.
Check-in and the registered participants’ goodies will be located at Highmark Builders from 10 a.m.–noon on February 21. After check-in, follow the virtual map, and stop into local boutiques, gift shops, restaurants and more to enjoy special deals, hot cocoa and treats—all while helping to create a thriving winter season.
