Since 1985, Paradise Charter Cruises has offered yachting trips on Lake Minnetonka for special events—from intimate weddings to big corporate gatherings. A leisurely cruise is an especially great way to see the fall colors this season as the wooded areas along the lake turn from green to gold to red. The Paradise Destiny II is set up for 40 to 100 passengers with a patio deck, salons, a grand staircase and more; for a smaller group, book a ride on the Paradise Grand or Paradise Princess II, which are 10- to 60-passenger yachts with sun decks for bistro-style dining. April to October rates range from about $250 to $475 per hour, depending on vessel, day, group size and other factors.
