From now through Aug. 30, help a local child get school-ready by donating school supplies to ResourceWest. Their annual supply drive helps more than 1,200 students in the Hopkins and Minnetonka school districts ensure they have a successful start to the school year.
The drive benefits children in Kindergarten through twelfth grade who qualify for the free and reduced school lunch program and live in the following cities: Deephaven, Excelsior, Greenwood, Hopkins, Minnetonka, Shorewood and Woodland. Families can register to receive the supplies by calling or stopping into the ResourceWest office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. this week.
If you’d like to donate, visit resourcewest.org for a list of the school supplies needed and names of the area drop-off sites. You can also donate funds by sending a check in the mail or dropping it off at the office. ResourceWest, 915 Mainstreet, Hopkins; resourcewest.org; 952.988.5350
